Holidays ahead

I can just imagine myself on holidays. I'm almost there...

For a few days just allowing myself to do nothing 'important', just reading, crafting, swimming, taking photos, and walking. I can't wait.

Ordinary days, good days

1 - Leftover fabric for a new quilt (barely) started months ago

2 - A new way to organize things

3 - Hiding in the closet all day long

4 - Some hours spent in the park (two of my favorite flowers there)

5 - Traditional portuguese blankets

6 - A tropical balcony I saw, somewhere in the city

7 - The new quilt (1) coming together

8 - Playing cards with M. and M. this weekend

9 - Traditional portuguese scarf 

Making two new tops to wear this sumer

This task I undertook almost 2 months ago is going well. But slowly. One of them is almost finished, and I can't wait to try it on!

Recently enjoyed things

1 - Watching Toffee and Crispy sleeping, mirroring each other
2 - Butter and jam toast + J's sketches
3 - A long walk on this beach
4 - Finding a long lost favorite shirt (in an unbelievable place...)
5 - Browsing through a warehouse packed with old furniture
6 e 7 - Brunch with friends in a nice new place: Café Tati
8 - Yummy pizza bread

A mild Sunday

Foggy morning, mild temperatures, a late start on a Sunday. 

Tea time for cats and rabbits. Tea is served with carrot bread. Toffee (the cat) is disappointed with the menu.

Things offered and things found

1 - Gifts from Paris: a Lomo camera, Kusmi tea, travel red bag. Loved all.

2 - Vintage sewing thread found in a house about to be emptied.

3 - Old and new stamps, waiting to be used/re-used.

Ideas on hold

I need more hours in my days to do things I like to do (anyone familiar with that feeling?)

M's photoshoot

M was bored because her sis was sleeping over at a friend's and she loves being photographed so... that's what we did, trying out my new camera.

My new toy

 Learning how to use my latest tool. I expect we will be very good friends in the future.

 

Before & after... A bath!

This cat was in desperate need of a bath (little did she know),    

She wasn't too happy about it,

But in the end she enjoyed the refreshing feeling of a wet fur coat (I think)!
