Familiar places to walk, new things seen

The light was so bright today! Every water drop seemed to glow in the sun.

Even this hotel, newly painted in a bold lavender colour, stood out in a way it never did before.

Found a new place to have tea with friends in a future visit to this area.

Noticed a vintage advert to a classical portuguese toothpaste.

Did bit of window shopping - these are two of my favourite haberdasheries. Lots of nice stuff.

Not bad for a break of 1 hour and a half!

An unexpected walk: enjoying a break in these rainy days

The weather decided to give Lisbon a break and indulged us (sun-accustomed-inhabitants) with a mild afternoon. It was enough to get us going, walking towards the river, just in time for the sunset.
Feels good to walk the city again.

Walking with pink lenses

In yesterday's walk, coming back home, this is what my eyes captured: pink everywhere I looked.

Around the Castle of St. George

Today I ended up walking in the streets around the Castle of St. George’s.

I love this ancient neighborhood (it is called Santa Cruz do Castelo) with is narrow streets an nice locals, which are either ageing people who have lived there all their lives or young people in love with the area.

The most spectacular viewpoints of Lisbon are here.

As well as some of the most typical neighbourhoods withe their unique details.

(I can't resist taking lots of photos)

As well as really beautiful architecture.
