Favorite Churches - old sacred places

As I walked in Rossio, I noticed this pink church (I can't remember the name) and went inside. I was awestruck with its beauty. It is one of the few survivors of the earthquake that devastated the downtown area in 1755. They 'scars' from those days were kept. I like that.

Then I walked towards Rua da Alfandega to visit my favorite church. I even cal it 'My Church', because I think it is such a beautiful unpretensious old place. Its called Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha (Our Lady of Conception). I love to sit there in the dim light.
