Blankets from around the world - knitting is back!

On my whishlist: laptop case

Recycled Design furniture

Some of these are from random Internet pages (I'm sorry, I don't remember where from), but the last one is, of course, from Dutch Droog Design. I will make one someday (am collecting drawers for that purpose)...

Inspiration: the best thing I read this week... Street wisdom

" you can't choose where you came from, but you can choose where you go from there"

Amsterdam XI - Saying goodbye & Enjoying the details

Amsterdam X - A pink day, today!

I don't know why but today everything on my way was... Pink!

Amsterdam XIX - Pre-Packed-Pic-nic lunch (in a sunny spot with a view)

Our hosts at B&B Blossom are awesome. The amazing breakfasts they prepare for us each each day are so complete that today we decided to have a picnic by the canal, to enjoy the sun! Lovely.

Amsterdam VI - Begijnhof

The Begijnhof is one of the oldest inner courts in the city of Amsterdam. A group of historic buildings, mostly private dwellings. As the name suggests, it was originally a Béguinage It bore close resemblance to a convent, although the beguines enjoyed greater freedom than nuns in a convent. While beguines took a vow of chastity, and while they considered themselves obliged to attend Holy Mass every day and pray various official prayers, they were free to leave the court at any time in order to get married.
